How to Optimise Your DiziShore Store and Product Listings for SEO

Otherwise, follow these steps to optimise your DiziShore store and product listings for better visibility, both on the platform and in search engines like Google.  

Step 1: Optimising Your DiziShore Store 

In this section, you will learn how to optimise your DiziShore store. After that, we will get into optimising product listings.  

1. Accessing Store SEO Settings 

First thing first – you need to access the “Vendor Dashboard” If you do not have a vendor account yet, then sign up with DiziShore. Once you have logged into your account, follow these steps: 

1. Go to your profile icon and click “Vendor Dashboard”.

2. Select “Settings” from the menu.

3. Open the “Store SEO” section. 

This is where you’ll input key SEO details for your store. 

2. Setting Up Your Store Title 

Your store title is one of the first things search engines and customers notice. Sometimes your store’s name will not say anything about the products you sell – and that’s okay. However, you can still include some relevant keywords, as we did in the example below.

  • Avoid Generic Titles:

  • Use Descriptive Keywords: 
    Example: John’s Shop – Marketing Tools and Templates 

Tips: 

Include relevant keywords that reflect your niche. 

  • Keep it simple, unique, and memorable. 

3. Writing an SEO-Friendly Store Meta Description 

Your store description should hook customers while helping search engines understand your offerings. This section is your chance to write about your products in detail and include relevant keywords or terms people use to search for your product on search engines like Google. However, do not just fill the description field with keywords/search terms. This practice is called “keyword stuffing”, which will do you more harm than good.

  • Avoid Vague Descriptions: 
    Example: I sell marketing tools. 

  • Use a Keyword-Rich Description: 
    Example: Discover the best digital marketing templates, powerful SEO tools, and expert brand guides to boost your online presence and grow your business effectively. 

Tips: 

  • Highlight your products and their benefits. 

  • Naturally include keywords. For our example, we included keywords like digital marketing tools, SEO templates, guides. 

4. Adding Meta Keywords 

The Meta Keywords field is where you add the 3-5 terms that best describe your store’s focus. Think of these keywords as tags or phrases that people will type out when searching for your products on search engines. If you are selling computer software, then terms like software and applications are relevant meta keywords.

  • Use short, relevant terms to boost discoverability. 

5. Optimising for Social Media 

DiziShore allows your store to be shared on platforms like Facebook or Twitter. You can customise how the social media snippet will look by editing the title and description and adding a cover image. Similar to your store’s meta title and description, focus on relaying a clear message to your customers while ensuring optimisation for SEO.

Use a high-quality image that represents your store. Make it clean, bold, and professional. 

Step 2: Optimising Your Product Page 

Now it’s time to learn how you can optimise your product listing. Let’s start from the basics. 

1. Adding a New Product 

You can optimise product listings through the product upload page. Follow these steps: 

1. Go to your profile icon and click “Vendor Dashboard”. 

2. Click on “Products”.

This is where you’ll optimise your product listing for SEO. 

2. Creating an SEO-Friendly Product Title 

Your product title should be clear, descriptive, and include relevant keywords. Think of what terms people will search for on search engines like Google and include those words.

  • Avoid Generic Titles:

  • Use Long-Tail Keywords:

3. Adding Regional Keywords (Optional) 

If your product is designed for a specific region, mention it in the title and description. This method will help you get the attention of buyers from a certain area or region.

4. Choosing the Right Price

5. Selecting the Best Category 

Choose a category that aligns with your product. Categorising will help people discover your listings on DiziShore.

7. Writing a Short Description 

Your product’s short description will show right beside the title and product images. As a result, it is one of the first things a buyer will see. It should quickly grab attention and highlight the product’s value. Remember to naturally add relevant keywords that will increase the optimisation of your listing.

8. Creating a Detailed Product Description 

The detailed description is your chance to provide more in-depth information. Buyers will trust products more if the description is well-written and clearly describes what the product is used for. Moreover, you can add more search terms in this description, but make sure not to overdo it!

Tips: 

  • Be thorough and engaging. 

  • Address potential questions customers might have. 

9. Editing the SEO Snippet 

Use the Edit Snippet option to optimise your product’s meta title, slug, and description. This will allow you to control how your product listing looks on search engines like Google. Having a strong and engaging meta title and description will make users want to click on your product out of the countless other results. This is your time to shine!
