Misleading Product Policy

Introduction


The information (text, images, videos, etc.) uploaded by the Vendors or affiliates on the website of ‘DiziShore’ must not give false, deceptive, or misleading claims about a product or service's features or effectiveness, including promises about anything that inflate user’s expectations. 


We want users to trust the advertisements and the products being sold on our platform. Vendors, Merchants and/or sellers must work hard to make sure that the products and advertisements are transparent and honest and give consumers/purchasers/buyers/users the information they need while making a decision. Vendors, Merchants and/or sellers that purposefully conceal key product information or give incorrect, misleading and deceptive information about products, services, or businesses are prohibited on our 

Platform.


Vendor/Seller/Merchant Behaviour


All vendors/sellers/merchants on the ‘DiziShore’ platform are not allowed to: 


  • Scam users by concealing, misrepresenting or misstating information in any way or form. This includes but is not limited to placing false or misleading details about the business, product, or service.
  • Impersonate other brands or businesses in any way.
  • False advertising of a service that can harm the user or anyone in any way.
  • Phishing advertising.
  • Coordinating with other sites or accounts and concealing or misrepresenting identity or other material or details, where content relates to politics, social issues, or matters of public concern.
  • Directing content about politics, social issues, or matters of public concern to users in a country other than your own.
  • Misrepresent or conceal your country of origin or other details.
  • Make misleading statements, obscure, or omit information about identity, affiliations, or qualifications.
  • Falsify affiliation with or endorsement by another individual, organisation, product, or service without their prior knowledge or consent.
  • Provide an inaccurate business name or a business name that does not clearly represent the advertised business.
  • Engage in practices that create a level of ambiguity with other similar businesses.
  • Misrepresent themselves while dealing with customers.


Dishonest Pricing Practices


The following are prohibited: 


  • Deceive user regarding the payment method or total cost that will incur. 
  • Place additional charges on the invoice without prior disclosure of price. This includes shipping costs, and other billing-related information, as well as interest rates, late payment penalties, or recurring subscription fees; employing premium-rate phone numbers in call extensions, and increasing costs above what is stated in order to take advantage of vulnerable or coerced people claiming that goods or services are free when they are not. 
  • Promoting product/service as free when users must pay to install them.
  • Place Ads that promise goods, services, or discounts that are non-existent.
  • Deceive users regarding the features of the product.
